I wasn’t very impressed with this place. Unfortunately, I visited on a Tuesday, which is when the kitchen is closed for deep cleaning after 3:00 PM. As a result, there was no hot food available, so I didn’t get to try anything from the kitchen. I could only have dim sum, and the selection was quite limited. I was actually looking forward to trying some of the kitchen specialties, especially the roast duck and lobster dishes. There were only three of us, and even with just dim sum, our bill was already over $100. If the kitchen had been open, we definitely would have ordered a lot more and probably spent $200–300. It was disappointing for us, and I think the restaurant also missed out on the opportunity to serve customers who came expecting the full menu. I also think they should clearly let customers know that the kitchen closes every Tuesday after 3:00 PM. This information should be posted on their website, Google listing, and social media so people know before making the trip. It would save customers time, avoid disappointment, and help the restaurant avoid losing business. The service was also disappointing. Canton House has always been one of the most consistent spots I’ve visited. Every dish I’ve had has been flavorful and well‑made—never a miss. The service is always great too; the staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps things moving even when it gets busy. It can definitely get crowded during peak hours, but honestly, that just shows how good the place is. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

Dim sum anyone?! Canton House clearly has a loyal local following, and after visiting, I can understand why. The dim sum lineup is extensive and seriously flavorful—each dish we tried delivered on taste. And that’s saying something, because those who know me know Chinese food isn’t usually my go-to. I came in skeptical, but I left full and open to returning again! Our faves included: Dim Sum: chicken and veggie dumplings, shrimp dumplings, steamed BBQ pork bun, spring rolls, black garlic chicken shu mai, & shrimp shu mai Entrees: Beef & Broccoli, general Tso's medium spicy w/shrimp, fried rice with Cantonese sausages The decor is a bit dated, but the atmosphere Is lively, so sip on your green tea (included…and make sure you ask for lemons) as you watch all the platters of dim sum zoom by! Attentive service added to the overall experience. The only drawback was that some dishes arrived lukewarm instead of piping hot. Don’t let that stop you…because the leftovers were AMAZING, thanks to my Ninja Crispi!

Even as someone who isn't a regular for Cantonese food, I really enjoyed the meal here. The place was buzzing with energy and the food was spot on. The massive variety of dishes can make it hard to choose, but you can’t go wrong with the classics. Reasonably priced and the large parking lot is a major convenience. Great spot for a casual meal or a big gathering!

The food was so so so good. It’s original Cantonese food. The service was good. The manager (lady) was excellent. The interior may need a huge upgrade. Excellent food overall. I will come back.
